We live in a classical and secure New York apartment building. Ours is a cute, contemporary and quiet one bedroom apartment looking down on a green interior courtyard. There is a living room and kitchen with bamboo floors, a small dining table, leather couch with ottoman and large work table: a large bedroom with hardwood floors: The tiled bathroom also has a tub and shower.
Prospect Heights is a calm and safe residential Brooklyn neighbourhood of families and professionals about 15 mins subway from Manhattan, dominated by major public institutions such as the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Brooklyn Central Library and Prospect Park. The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) is a 15 mins walk from our door. There are numerous neighbourhood cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries etc. The neighbourhood buildings are medium apartment buildings and brick and stone single family rowhouses. The subway is very frequent and almost on our doorstep (50m), it easily leads to many different areas of NY.
